Darci Jo Reno is an intuitive painter. Her use of color and textures on canvas creates a sense of movement and calm. Born and raised in Iowa, Darci spent much of her childhood outdoors -whether exploring lakes in the summer or sledding through snow in winter-experiences that continue to inspire her approach to art.

As a preschool teacher, Darci found an appreciate for the creative process while encouraging students to explore their creativity. Her love for abstract painting ignited upon receiving an honorary award for her first exhibited competition.

Darci now resides between sunny California and lowa. Her work will now be influenced by the Coachella Valley Desert.
